Year Round Trout Season?

In response to anglers, WRD has proposed increasing trout fishing opportunities by creating a year round trout season. Research indicates that seasonal trout water provides no significant biological protection for mountain trout. These waters will remain designated trout water. The changes will be considered by the Board at their March 25th meeting.

Georgia Southern University's Shooting Complex

The Shooting Sports Education Center at Georgia Southern University is coming along nicely! WRD along with the NSSF and Statesboro-Bullock Co partnered to build this first-class facility and plan to open the Center this summer.
