FORMAL AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATORS INVITED TO ATTEND OUTDOOR WILDLIFE LEADERSHIP SCHOOL
If you are looking to initiate or increase knowledge about wildlife conservation and its instruction, make plans to attend the Outdoor Wildlife Leadership School, or OWLS, scheduled for July 14-18, 2014 at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center. This workshop will focus on wildlife conservation for both K-12 and non-formal educators.
Not an Educator? Please share with friends and family that are!
Workshop participants will spend five days immersed in Georgia wildlife education via activities and day trips, such as birding, canoeing, and bog exploring. Additionally, spend time learning basic conservation biology concepts and field techniques that can be used with students in and out of the classroom. Finally, participants will be trained as Project WILD facilitators and given curriculum guides.
