Father’s Day

Gather all of the dads and grandfathers in your family to celebrate Father’s Day in the great outdoors.  Picnic shelters and group shelters can be reserved in advance for a summer barbecue, plus we have accommodations if you want to stay the weekend. Georgia’s State Parks can help make this a memorable Father’s Day for your family.

Cabin Renovations

Mountain lovers, you’ll want to check out the newly renovated cottages at Vogel and Fort Mountain state parks.  These cozy cabins have fully furnished kitchens inside, plus grills and picnic tables outside.  Both parks feature cool mountain lakes with swimming beaches, plus gorgeous hiking trails. This one is at Vogel State Park near Blairsville.

New Gift Cards

Just in time for Father’s Day, Georgia’s State Parks now have gift cards for purchase. These can be used for campsites, cabins, retail shops, historic site admission, boat rentals, golf and numerous other activities.  Cards may be purchased at Georgia State Park offices or by calling 1-800-434-0982.
