GET READY FOR DEER SEASON - ARCHERY OPENS THIS WEEKEND
It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here! Deer season opens this weekend with the start of archery season statewide on Saturday, Sept. 14. Are you ready?
Deer season is the most widely anticipated hunting season in the state, and we want to help you succeed this year. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and check out our “2013 Deer Season Forecast and 2012 Recap” video featuring state deer biologist Charlie Killmaster. In addition to his forecast and look back, Charlie explains when the peaks in each Georgia region and gives his top picks for wildlife management areas to hunt this fall.

- Either-Sex Days, Southern Zone
