Your Business Connection to Wildlife Conservation

Coastfest

Thank you MHG, Bass Pro Shops, and Georgia Natural Resources Foundation!

More than 7,500 visitors attended the 21st annual CoastFest in Brunswick with Bassmaster Elite Pro Angler, JTodd Tucker –sponsored by MHG, who introduced the public to the new Rat-L-Trap biodegradable lures being produced using MHG’s PHA. Thanks to Bass Pro Shops and members of Southeast Adventures, kids experienced on-the-water-kayaking. With funding provided by the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation, a 5,000 gallon saltwater aquarium was on display with a wide variety of  saltwater fish species. Fish

Fish Attractors/Habitat Enhancements on Walter F. George.

A large fish attractor and habitat enhancement effort on lake Walter F. George has been underway with our partners the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alabama DCNR, and volunteers from the Friends of Lake Eufaula. Large 20' to 40' cedar trees with assistance of cranes and a large barge, were transported and sunk in the lake for improved fish habitat. This should be a great place to catch a big bass in just a few weeks and will continue to provide improved fish habitat for years to come.
