BISCAYNE BAY AQUATIC PRESERVES PROCLAIMS MARCH AS SEAGRASS AWARENESS MONTH

WHO:         Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves along with Mayor of North Bay Village, Connie Leon-Kreps, and the North Bay Village Commissioners are kicking off the 7th Annual Seagrass Awareness Month.

WHAT:       7th Annual Seagrass Awareness Month Proclamation

A free catamaran boat cruise guided by aquatic preserve biologists will be offered immediately following the proclamation ceremony. Cruise participants will receive an intimate perspective on the seagrass beds of Biscayne Bay and the myriad of seabirds and shorebirds, seagrass-reliant mammals and commercially and recreationally important fish species that call these areas their home.
