March 18: 2-3 p.m. Freshwater Turtle Lecture by Chris Lechowicz, director of Wildlife Habitat Management and Herpetologist with the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation

March 19: 2-3 p.m. Lecture by Dr. LaToya Myles, NOAA Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division 

March 28: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Archaeology Day featuring Dr. Nancy White, archaeologist, University of South Florida 

April 2: 2-3 p.m. Venomics of the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake by Mark Margres, Ph.D. candidate, Florida State University

April 15: 2-3 p.m. Song Birds Lecture by Alan Kneidel, M.S. Candidate, Delaware State University and the NOAA Environmental Cooperative Science Center

May 7: 2-3 p.m. Migratory Songbirds of St. George Island Lecture by Melanie Mancuso and Armando Aispuro

Lectures are free and do not require registration. All lectures are hosted at the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Nature Center located at 108 Island Dr., Eastpoint, FL 32328.
