FLORIDA PARK SERVICE DIRECTOR TO PADDLE BLACKWATER RIVER WITH FLORIDA WILDLIFE CORRIDOR EXPEDITION

TALLAHASSEE – Donald Forgione, director of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service, will join the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition team as they paddle the Blackwater River on Saturday, March 14. 

The team, which includes Carlton Ward Jr., Mallory Lykes Dimmitt and Joe Guthrie, will paddle from Johnson’s Float at Blackwater State Forest to Deaton’s Bridge in Blackwater River State Park to raise awareness about the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition.

                     Paddle: 9:30 a.m.
                     Reception: 12:00 p.m.
