DEP SEEKS SERVICE PROVIDER FOR VISITOR SERVICES AT OLETA RIVER STATE PARK

MIAMI - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park
Service has released two Calls for Business Plans seeking service providers for Oleta River State Park. Possible services include food and beverage sales,
recreational equipment rentals, guided tours, merchandise sales and special
events coordination at Oleta River State Park and/or the Blue Marlin Fish House
Restaurant, located outside the park.
Last fiscal year there were 552,188 visitors to Oleta River State Park,
generating $41,523,144 in direct economic impact.
Interested parties must attend the March 11 meeting in order to be eligible to submit a proposal for Blue Moon Outdoor Center and/or Blue Marlin Fish House. Proposals are due no later than 5 p.m. EST, Friday, April 3, 2015.
