DEP PARTNERS WITH COLLIER COUNTY AND ABOVE BOARD CHAMBER OF FLORIDA TO
HOST PERMITTING WORKSHOP AND OPEN HOUSE
~Event to provide
public, businesses an opportunity to learn about local and state government
processes~
NAPLES – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s South
District, Collier County and the Above Board Chamber of Florida are hosting a
luncheon meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the North Collier Regional Park in
Naples. Attendees will explore “The Bottom Line on Permitting” and learn how to
work with local and state governments to increase economic growth in southwest
Florida.
The business community is invited to learn about
construction and development permitting from a panel of field experts,
including Florida Department of Environmental permit team leaders Megan Mills
and Dr. Ahmadi; Dan Waters, Director of the Service Center at the South Florida
Water Management District; Brianne McGuffie, senior project manager with the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers; and James C. French, deputy administrator of Collier
County’s growth management division.
Reservations include lunch and are due on or before Jan.
23. A $25 registration fee will be
honored through that date. Later reservations will be subject to a $30
registration fee. The department encourages attendees to book early as space is

and ensuring the quality and quantity of our state’s water resources.
