PANAMA CITY - Join the
Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service for an open house to gather ideas for future updates to the management plan for St. Andrews State Park on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
St. Andrews State
Park is well known for its 1.5 miles of sugar-white sand beaches and emerald
green waters where camping, fishing, swimming and beach combing are popular
activities.
This public workshop will be held in
an open house format. A short presentation by staff will share the process of
updating a management plan. Members of the public will be invited to meet with
staff and share their thoughts on the facilities, activities and management
practices offered at St. Andrews State Park. It is important to note, this is a preliminary idea-gathering opportunity. At this time, there is not a draft management update.
