TWO STATE PARK CAMPGROUNDS CLOSED

~Campgrounds closed due to local flooding and planned construction~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Department of Environmental Protection today announced that two state park campgrounds are closed in southwest Florida. The state parks remain open.

Collier-Seminole State Park
20200 Tamiami Trail E.
Naples, FL 34114

The campground is closed for remodeling. 

Myakka River State Park
13208 State Road 72
Sarasota, FL 34241

Two of three camping loops are closed because of local flooding.
