The D.C. Public Library (DCPL) Adaptive Services Department has changed its name to the Center for Accessibility.
Why the change? The mission of the Adaptive
Services Department is to make the DC Public Library accessible to persons living with disabilities. As part of their mission, library materials, programs, computers, and the library itself
are accessible to customers with a wide range of disabilities.
