Chauncey Billups
Staffordshire Terrier
Chauncey Billups may look serious in his photos, but he actually is a jolly little fellow. This sweet guy likes to have fun and enjoys a close daily snuggle. Before he made his way to Colorado, Chauncey was utilized as the official greeter at his shelter.
Chauncey is submissive and easy going and yet, he brings an undeniable energy to every social setting he enters.
This young pup has a unique look to him and a personality to go with it. He is bouncy, funny, and loves to play with other dogs.
He would do well in a home where he has a canine companion with his energy level to play and wrestle with.
Chauncey still has a lot of puppy in him, so he will need help learning what is expected of him and how to walk properly on a leash, but he is super smart and is already making progress in these areas. He is very affectionate with humans and dogs, and is very good with children that are big enough he won't knock over in his exuberance. If you are looking for a young dog to bring joy and happiness to your family...Chauncey is the perfect choice!
Chauncey's adoption fee includes all vaccinations, neuter, lifetime enrollment on his microchip, and one groups session with our dawg trainer.

Urban Peak is a homeless shelter for teens. They are required to go to school or have a job. It’s not just a place to sack out, as some would think. We are looking for more volunteers to help provide and serve food the 3rd Wednesday of the month. There are a group of federal employees that get there around 5 and 6 and are usually done by 7. There is no dishwashing or cleanup involved. The teens take care of that. They are always so appreciative of what the volunteers do. It’s a wonderful way to feel like you are making a difference in a young persons life.
The group volunteers at the S. Bannock location. If you are interested in helping please contact Michael Nestlehut Michael.Nestlehut@onrr.gov.
