Boulder County, Colo. -- In addition to the six 24-hour ballot drop boxes, the Boulder County Elections Division will open drive-by ballot drop-off locations across Boulder County on Friday Oct. 30 making it more convenient than ever for voters to return their mail ballots. Ballots must be received by the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. Postmarks do not count as a received date.
Drive-by ballot drop-off locations will be open Friday, Oct. 30, Saturday, Oct. 31 (no Sunday hours) and Monday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., and on Tuesday, Nov. 3 – Election Day - from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
In addition, six 24-hour ballot drop-boxes will remain open across Boulder County until 7 p.m. Nov. 3 – Election Day.

The Elections Division wants to remind voters to sign the back of their ballot envelope as they would normally sign their name. Every ballot envelope’s signature is compared against the voter’s signature on their voter registration file. If a discrepancy is found or the signature does not match, the ballot envelope will not be opened or processed and the voter will be notified of the discrepancy by mail and/or email.
Voters can check to see if their mail ballot was received and accepted at www.BoulderCountyVotes.org and they can sign up to receive alerts about their mail ballot by using Boulder County Votes Ballot Track.
Residents who have not yet registered to vote can do so in person at any of Boulder County’s four Voter Service and Polling Centers up to and including Election Day or they can register online, however, they must visit a Voter Service and Polling Center in order to cast a ballot.
