City of Riverside, California Ward 7 Update

Dear Friends,

In the spirit of making our city clean and beautiful (improving our quality of life), I would like to offer all Ward 7 residents the opportunity to enter into a friendly contest. This contest is for the Month of March and all you need to do is report issues/problems you see throughout our city, to our Call Center.

This contest applies to all service requests! Please report all problems/issues.

The purpose of this contest is to encourage a spirit of participation from those residents/neighbors who might be reluctant to get involved. When we all work together good things happen!

Our city offers a number of ways to report issues to our Call Center:

  1. Smart phone application:  http://riversideca.gov/mobile311
  2. Call Center at 311 or 951-826-5311
  3. www.riversideca.gov

When you see a pothole, graffiti, lifted sidewalk, shopping cart, street light outage, etc., use your smart phone - open the application (see above), take a photo with your phone, select the type of issue, and send. The photo (along with the address via GPS and date/time stamp) goes to the City's 311 Call Center and generates a service request number.

For residents without a smart phone, call the Call Center or go online to the city’s website (see above).

You must register for the contest so, please e-mail or call Frank at (farreola@riversideca.gov or 951-826-5024), and get registered. The resident with the most Service Request #’s (issues/problems reported) will win.

The winner will be announced in April and the prize will be a dinner for two - to Anchos Southwest Grill & Bar ($50.00 value).

Your representative to the city!

Sincerely,

Steve Adams
