The Cascading Curves of Poverty of COVID-19
Dear ALL IN Community,
Recently, I posted an important piece to Medium on COVID and its relentless cascading impacts on poverty and inequity. It’s a quick read entitled, The Cascading Curves of Poverty of COVID-19. I hope that it may prove relevant to your work and your interests. I wonder if you would consider helping me out by sharing the piece to the social media platforms on which you are active. Please feel free to share either link - one is to Medium and the other to LinkedIn. You can also click here to share by Tweet.
Thank you, Dr. Larissa Estes, Director, ALL IN
Food Distributions in Alameda County
For many low-income individuals and families in Alameda County, the COVID-19 crisis has made it even more difficult to access enough healthy food for themselves and their families. Our food banks, pantries, and the Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA) have been working diligently to meet this unprecedented, and drastically increased, demand for emergency food in our community.
SSA has published an interactive map for COVID-19 Food Distribution and Services available in Alameda County. If you are in need of food or social services, you can search this map for services near you.
