This 3 day camp is an introduction to robotics using RC components and other supplies you might find in your own garage. Campers, working together in teams, will build a robot and compete with other teams. Students will work in a team environment, write an engineering manual, learn basic tool skills, and be exposed to a variety of important engineering technologies. This camp is designed for students ages 10-17, with older kids having the opportunity to assume leadership roles with their team. All experience levels welcome.

1st Annual Homeschool Day
Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix is Arizona's biggest 'n' best water park. Located on Pinnacle Peak Road near I-17, the park features more than 30 thrilling attractions for everyone. The park will be open to homeschoolers regardless of age and height requirements. A fun day in the Arizona sun is the perfect outdoor classroom or playground every summer. Homeschool Day is a program where homeschoolers and their families can observe the mechanics of thrill rides and water slides. Parents are welcome to create a corresponding lesson plan for their students or download the Activity Trail for some water park math and science

If you've never yet been to the American Heritage Festival you won't want to miss it. The American Heritage Festival is the largest living history timeline event west of the Mississippi, is organized by homeschoolers and is a tremendous educational opportunity for all ages regarding our national, cultural and spiritual heritage.

East Valley Christian Home Educators (EVCHE) has put together a homeschool cooperative program for the 2014-15 academic year. This will be a true cooperative with every family having several "jobs" (teaching, set up, tear down, preschool, nursery, cleaning, etc.). A parent will be required to stay on site for the entire time and bring a lunch. There is a park across the street for picnics and letting littles run around.
Each of your children from 1st-12th grade will have the opportunity to choose from classes during each of the four periods. Classes we are putting together include beginner and intermediate Band, science labs (General Science lab, Physical Science lab, Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Biology lab, Advanced Biology lab, Zoology lab), IEW beginner writing class, Spanish, Heroes of the Faith, drawing, yearbook, robotics, and many more. Preschool (0-5) will be available for younger siblings of the cooperative only.
WHEN: Fridays for the 2014-15 academic year - 32 weeks, 9am-3pm (option of just morning 9-12)
