A Call to Action

Arizona State Senate Voting To Strike Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards and PARCC

This Thursday, February 20th at 8:30 AM, the Arizona State Senate will consider a number of bills that will repeal the implementation of Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards (Common Core), and withdraw from the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). These actions will jeopardize the hard work of teachers and lower the quality of education for Arizona's students.

Show your support for higher standards in Arizona classrooms by attending this legislative session and speaking out. Meeting begins at 8:30 AM in Senate Hearing Room 1.

Senate Education Committee Hearing
Thursday, 2/20/14 - 8:30 am
State Capitol, Senate Hearing Room 1
1700 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85007

You may also show your support by signing this pledge and contacting your Legislator.

If you cannot attend, the legislature uses a Request to Speak system to let the public show their opposition or support for bills being considered. We need as many people as possible to register in the system to show opposition to these bills. (If you sign up, you do not have to speak.)
