What's Your Transit Resolution? Enter Contest for Great Prizes!

Dear AC Transit Riders,

Hope you had an enjoyable holiday and are gearing up for a great 2013!

With the New Year just around the corner, we at AC Transit would like to know your Transit Resolution for 2013, and to find out, we’re having a Facebook contest between December 26 and January 11. We’ve got some great prizes to give away, including a gift certificate to Faz Restaurant in Oakland, tickets to the Martin Luther King tribute concert at the Paramount, movie passes, and $25 to spend at Oaklandish gift shop in downtown Oakland. And, anyone who decides to contribute a photo as well will be in the running for an AC Transit 31-Day bus pass.

So What’s a Transit Resolution?
A Transit Resolution is a New Year’s Resolution that’s specific to transit. It’s anything you can do to ride transit, use transit more, or make riding transit a better experience for all. It could be a commitment to taking the bus to the gym, getting a Clipper card, or saying hello to the passenger next to you. Be creative, but be sure to let us know about it!

How Do You Participate in My Transit Resolution?
To get started, click here for contest details. After “liking” our Facebook page (if you’re not already a fan), tell us your Transit Resolution, and, if you can, submit a photo showing us your resolution. All participants will be in the running for the prizes mentioned above, and those who contribute a photo will also be eligible to win a 31-Day Bus Pass!! How cool is that? We love getting photos and will be sure to post the ones we receive when the contest is over.
